When pulled over do I have to talk to the police?

No. When you are pulled over by Maryland police, you have the right to seek advice from counsel from the roadside prior to submitting to the Breathalyzer and field sobriety tests. If asked if you were drinking, how much you drank, or even where you were heading, you have the right to politely decline to answer these questions until seeking advice from counsel.
